Dr. Gabriel Jasso is the Clinical Director at TNG. He has a broad range of clinical experience in neuropsychological and psychological assessments and individual psychotherapy. Dr. Jasso’s experience in neuropsychology and psychology include assessments in traumatic brain injury, neurodegenerative conditions, pre-surgical evaluation for spinal surgery, deep brain stimulation, and bariatric candidates. His experience includes immigration evaluations, pre-adoption screenings for potential adoptive parents, psychological pain management, and crisis intervention. Due to his educational experience in the legal setting, Dr. Jasso provides expert clinical opinions in both civil and criminal matters. Additionally, he has a certificate of achievement to provide neuropsychological assessments for the visually impaired.   All services provided by Dr. Jasso and his staff are in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Jasso is a Texas licensed psychologist. He earned a doctorate and masters of arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the Texas School of Professional Psychology in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Jasso completed a pre-doctoral internship where he acquired clinical skills as a psychologist. Soon after, he completed a two-year post-doctoral residency in clinical neuropsychology where he focused his training in providing neuropsychological assessments to brain injury patients. Additionally, Dr. Jasso earned a master of arts degree in Legal Studies and a bachelor of arts degree in Anthropology both from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. His clinical research includes exploring intelligence levels, and the role learning disorders and legal history play in the homeless population. He is board certified by the American Board of Disability Analysts. He is board certified by the American Board of Behavioral Healthcare Practice. Dr. Jasso is a Clinical Associate with the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists. 

Erin Winsett, LPA, CLCP

Erin Winsett is a Licensed Psychological Associate with Independent Practice. She is also a Certified Life Care Planner. She attended John Jay College in New York and obtained her master’s degree in Forensic Psychology. She participated in an externship at Kings County Hospital Center Forensic Psychiatric Services in Queens and Brooklyn County Courts where she observed, participated, and prepared reports for evaluations assessing competency to stand trial and in pre-sentencing evaluations. She assisted in a research project by gathering data examining the outcomes of competency evaluations. She also consulted with defense attorneys and district attorneys regarding defendant’s cases and backgrounds. She then moved back home to Texas and participated in an Internship at The Neuropsychology and Counseling Center where she conducted clinical interview, mental status evaluations, and psychological testing for patients.

She started working for Dr. Jasso in July of 2016 and has flourished working with patients with traumatic brain injury. For Texas Neuropsychology Group, she conducts neuropsychological evaluations, practices brief solution focused therapy for brain injury patients, and she lead groups and assists in the implementation of the Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation program and Functional Restoration Program. As a Certified Life Care Planner, she has working knowledge of medical systems, associated disabilities, and treatment/maintenance protocol required for a catastrophically disabled individual to sustain life within an acceptable comfort level in the form of a Life Care Plan. According to The International Academy of Life Care Planners, a Life Care Plan is “a dynamic document based upon published standards of practice, comprehensive assessment, data analysis and research, which provides an organized, concise plan for current and future needs with associated cost for individuals who have experienced catastrophic injury or have chronic health care needs.”
